- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 medium-sized potatoes, diced
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into small pieces
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, including juice
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a greased baking dish while the oven warms.
- Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- Combine the browned beef mixture with diced potatoes, green beans, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top if desired. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Optional: Serve with sour cream or chopped parsley. Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated for future meals.
