Description

A cozy, comforting Crockpot Italian Beef that fills your home with delightful aromas and warms the heart.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 pounds beef roast (chuck roast)
  • 1 packet Italian seasoning
  • 1 jar pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 cup beef broth (or red wine)
  • Optional: sliced onions, bell peppers, or garlic cloves

Instructions

  1. Prepare your roast by trimming any excessive fat.
  2. Season generously with Italian seasoning, rubbing it all over the roast.
  3. Place the seasoned roast into the crockpot.
  4. Add the pepperoncini on top of the roast.
  5. Pour in the beef broth (or red wine) around the roast.
  6. Cook on low for 8 hours (or high for about 4 hours).
  7. Shred the beef using two forks when it’s done.
  8. Mix the shredded beef back into the juices before serving.
  9. Taste-test and adjust seasoning as necessary.

Notes

Leftovers taste even better the next day! Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
