Description

A comforting and flavorful Crockpot French Dip Sandwich that’s perfect for busy families, allowing for a delicious meal with minimal fuss.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 to 4 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 5 to 6 sandwich rolls (hoagie or French bread)
  • Optional: provolone or Swiss cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast into your slow cooker.
  2. Pour in the beef broth.
  3. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the top of the roast.
  4. Set your slow cooker on low and let it work for 8 hours.
  5. Shred the meat with two forks right in the slow cooker.
  6. Serve the meat with the warm broth on halved sandwich rolls and top with cheese if desired.

Notes

Leftovers taste even better the next day and can be reheated easily. For added flavor, consider using soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce.
