Description

A comforting, flavorful dish made with chicken, marinara, and gooey cheese, perfect for chaotic evenings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken by placing it in the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Add the marinara sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve once the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

This dish pairs wonderfully with pasta, garlic bread, or a fresh salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
