- 1 cup soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Add the sliced flank steak, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and brown sugar to your slow cooker and stir to combine.
- Cook on low for about 300 minutes (5 hours).
- Stir the mixture before serving, and if the sauce is thin, it will thicken beautifully as it sits.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. For reheating, do it gently on the stove with a splash of water if needed.
