Description

A comforting dish featuring tender chicken cooked in garlic, butter, and herbs, perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Just toss them in; no need for a formal arrangement.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth. This is where the magic starts; it’ll keep everything moist and flavorful.
  3. Add the butter cut into a few pieces on top of the chicken.
  4. Toss in the garlic and herbs. Sprinkle the minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper over everything.
  5. Set the slow cooker on low for 6 hours and cover it.
  6. Check back in once the cooking time is up and spoon the luscious sauce over the chicken.

Notes

Consider adding fresh herbs for an extra flavor boost. You can reheat leftovers with a splash more chicken broth for moisture.
