Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the chicken reaches 165°F.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and green onions.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm over rice, pasta, or in soft rolls.
