Description
A comforting and filling slow cooker meal featuring chicken and stuffing that’s easy to prepare and full of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 box (12 oz) stuffing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken, ensuring that it is evenly covered.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the stuffing mix according to the package instructions.
- Spoon the prepared stuffing on top of the chicken and soup mixture.
- Dot the stuffing with butter, allowing it to melt into the dish as it cooks.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes. It’s done when the chicken is cooked through and the edges of the stuffing start to pull away from the sides of the cooker.
- Serve warm and enjoy your meal.
Notes
Opt for full-fat cream of chicken soup to avoid watery results. Look for a low-carb stuffing mix to keep it friendly for your diet.
