Ingredients

  • 1 cup of caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)
  • Chopped nuts or sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples by rinsing them under cold water and removing the stems.
  2. Core the apples using an apple corer, leaving the bottoms intact.
  3. Place the apples upright in the slow cooker.
  4. Melt the caramel and butter in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the apples.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over the caramel-covered apples if desired.
  7. Set the slow cooker on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
