- 1 cup of caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- A sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions
- Prepare the apples by rinsing them under cold water and removing the stems.
- Core the apples using an apple corer, leaving the bottoms intact.
- Place the apples upright in the slow cooker.
- Melt the caramel and butter in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the apples.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over the caramel-covered apples if desired.
- Set the slow cooker on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
- Serve the apples and top with chopped nuts or sprinkles as desired.
