- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup mini chocolate roses
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon rose water (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped rose petals (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and rose water.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, whisking together until even.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the mini chocolate roses and semisweet chocolate chips, and optionally the chopped rose petals.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half of the butter with applesauce. Store cookies in an airtight container to maintain softness.
