Description

Delicious Rose Chocolate Chip Cookies infused with a hint of floral flavor, combining classic baking with an elegant twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate roses
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon rose water (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped rose petals (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and rose water.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, whisking together until even.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
  6. Fold in the mini chocolate roses and semisweet chocolate chips, and optionally the chopped rose petals.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half of the butter with applesauce. Store cookies in an airtight container to maintain softness.
