- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 4 hoagie rolls or sturdy sandwich rolls
- Provolone cheese, optional
Instructions
- Put the sliced onion in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Season your roast with salt and pepper and place it on top of the onions.
- Pour in beef broth, add Worcestershire sauce, and garlic.
- Cook on low for around 8 hours until the beef is tender.
- Pull the beef out and shred it with two forks, returning it to the juices.
- Toast your rolls for added sturdiness.
- Pile on the beef, add cheese if desired, and serve with au jus for dipping.
Notes
Toast the rolls to prevent sogginess. Taste the au jus and adjust seasoning as necessary. Shredding the beef may take additional time based on the cut of meat used.
