Description

A refreshing and delightful soda made with rhubarb, perfect for warm seasons and family gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rhubarb, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped rhubarb, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring gently.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rhubarb is soft.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to create rhubarb simple syrup.
  4. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of the syrup with 1 cup of sparkling water over ice.
  5. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
