Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cooked macaroni with the shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into small bite-sized balls.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Roll each mac and cheese ball in flour, dip in egg, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the mac and cheese bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes
