Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the cooked macaroni with the shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into small bite-sized balls.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Roll each mac and cheese ball in flour, dip in egg, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the mac and cheese bites in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.
