Description

Delicious slow-cooked meatball subs with marinara sauce and melted cheese, perfect for busy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • Frozen meatballs
  • Marinara sauce
  • Sub rolls or hoagie bread
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional toppings: sliced jalapeños, onion rings, arugula
  • Garlic powder and Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grab your crockpot. Add the frozen meatballs and pour in marinara sauce.
  2. Give everything a gentle stir.
  3. Set your slow cooker to low and let it go for 240 to 300 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F about 10 minutes before serving.
  5. Slice the sub rolls in half, lay them on a baking sheet, and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Pop them in the oven until the cheese melts.
  7. Scoop meatballs onto the toasted bread, top with cheese and desired toppings.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes
