Instructions
- Prep the apples: Peel, core, and slice the apples.
- Combine the apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and salt in the slow cooker.
- Slow cook on low for 8 hours (or high for 4-5 hours).
- Blend the mixture until smooth using an immersion blender or transferring to a regular blender.
- Cool and store the apple butter in sterilized jars.
