Description

A comforting slow cooker dish combining yellow potatoes, smoky sausage, and green beans, perfect for busy family dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 907 g yellow potatoes (scrubbed and quartered)
  • 120 g yellow onion (diced)
  • 340 g smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 2 cans cut green beans (drained, 14.5 oz each)
  • 113 g unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 0.6 packet Italian dressing seasoning mix
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Place the quartered potatoes into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Give the potatoes a little toss to spread the seasoning a bit.
  4. Add in the diced onions and give everything a quick toss to coat.
  5. Top the potatoes with sliced smoked sausage.
  6. Add the drained green beans over that, then sprinkle the Italian dressing seasoning evenly across the surface.
  7. Place the full stick of butter right on top of the layers.
  8. Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  9. Gently stir everything together before serving to mix in all that buttery flavor.

Notes

Leftovers taste even better the next day. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
