Description

Delightful dessert bars featuring a graham cracker crust, creamy cheesecake filling, diced apples, and a luscious caramel drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter; mix until resembling wet sand.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
  4. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Pour the apple filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and swirl it into the cheesecake mixture.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  10. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They may taste even better the next day.
