Ingredients

  • 3 lb. Boneless Turkey Breast
  • ½ Stick Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Tsp. Salt (or to taste)
  • 1 Tsp. Ground Pepper
  • 1 ½ Tsp. Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 Tsp. Paprika
  • 2 Tsp. Cumin
  • 2 Tsp. Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Coat a baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Set aside for later.
  2. Clean and pat dry the turkey breast.
  3. In a bowl, place the butter, garlic, and remaining seasonings. Stir to combine until creamy.
  4. Loosen the skin of the turkey breast. Spread half of the butter mixture underneath the skin, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  5. Spread the other half of the butter on top of the turkey breast.
  6. Place the turkey in the coated baking dish, skin-side up. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until the skin starts to brown.
  7. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting occasionally with pan juices.
  8. Check the temperature with a thermometer; remove it from the oven at 160 degrees.
  9. Lightly cover with foil and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
