Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth but still slightly chunky.
  3. Add lime juice and kosher salt, and mix well.
  4. Fold in chopped cilantro, diced onion, diced tomatoes, and the jalapeño if desired.
  5. Adjust seasoning with more salt or lime juice to taste.
