Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the creamed mixture.
  4. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Make a small indentation in each cookie and fill with the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and golden.
