- 150 grams (1 ½ cups) all-purpose flour
- 100 ml (½ cup) water
- 100 ml (½ cup) milk
- 80 grams (⅓ cup) butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 500 ml (2 cups) milk
- 150 grams (¾ cup) sugar
- 100 grams (1 cup) all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 180 grams (¾ cup) butter
- Icing sugar or your favorite garnish
Instructions
- Start by mixing the 150 grams flour, 80 grams butter, and 100 ml milk in a large mixing bowl. Blend until thick.
- Crack in 4 eggs one at a time, blending slowly. Add baking powder and salt, stir until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine 500 ml milk and 150 grams sugar. Add 100 grams flour and 2 eggs, whisk until combined.
- Line a slow cooker with parchment paper. Pour in the dough mixture followed by the cream filling.
- Cover and set the slow cooker on low for about 3 to 4 hours.
- Once done, dust with icing sugar and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
If you use salted butter instead of unsalted, it will still turn out delicious. Feel free to experiment with different flavors or garnishes.
