Ingredients

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sweetener (like erythritol)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cooking spray
- Additional cinnamon and sweetener for coating
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- Add applesauce and vanilla extract, mixing until a dough forms.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Form dough into small bite-sized pieces or balls.
- Place them in the air fryer basket, spray lightly with cooking spray, and cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix additional cinnamon and sweetener.
- Once cooked, immediately toss churro bites in the cinnamon-sweetener mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a touch of orange zest or using maple syrup instead of sweetener.
