- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 5 large flour tortillas
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine fresh cranberries and sugar. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens. Let it cool.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, chopped nuts, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each tortilla.
- Spoon the cranberry mixture on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Roll up tightly and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Slice into pinwheels and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The flavors deepen overnight.
