Instructions

  1. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry.
  2. Lay them skin-side down on a clean towel and press gently to remove extra moisture.
  3. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the glaze. Stir until the honey dissolves a little and the chopped garlic is evenly distributed.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon skin-side down for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Press each fillet gently with a spatula to keep the skin touching the pan for a steady crisp.
  6. Flip the fillets, brush half of the glaze on top, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature of 145°F).
  7. Drizzle remaining glaze over the salmon and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
  8. Let the salmon rest for a minute so the glaze settles and the juices redistribute.

Notes
