  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for drizzle)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 99 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently.
  6. Fold in the diced apples, allowing them to nestle into the batter.
  7. In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, oats, flour, melted butter, and ground cinnamon to create the crumb topping.
  8. Spread the apple batter in the prepared pan and sprinkle with the crumb topping.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and milk for the drizzle and pour over the cooled cake before serving.
