Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 99 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently.
- Fold in the diced apples, allowing them to nestle into the batter.
- In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, oats, flour, melted butter, and ground cinnamon to create the crumb topping.
- Spread the apple batter in the prepared pan and sprinkle with the crumb topping.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for the drizzle and pour over the cooled cake before serving.
