Description

A hearty, easy breakfast casserole that you can just dump and go. It’s perfect for feeding a crowd and suits a variety of tastes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 4 cups frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional vegetables (spinach, bell peppers, tomatoes)

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Layer hash browns on the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add crumbled breakfast sausage on top of the potatoes.
  4. Layer shredded cheese over the sausage.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the entire casserole.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
