Description

A comforting and tender Mississippi Pot Roast made with simple ingredients, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 58 pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Add the butter on top of the roast.
  4. Place the pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender and falls apart easily.
  7. Serve with your choice of sides.

Notes

Use well-marbled chuck roast for moist meat. Real butter adds richness, and fresh pepperoncini are recommended for the best flavor.
