Description

A comforting slow cooker dish featuring tender chicken breasts simmered in garlic butter and broth, complemented by colorful mixed vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup garlic butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, broccoli, bell peppers)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Pour the garlic butter and chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables on top.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and garlic powder.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  6. Shred the chicken with forks before serving.
