- 1.5 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 10.5 oz Cream of Chicken Soup
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- ¾ cup Chicken Broth
- 1 packet Good Seasons Dry Italian Salad Dressing Mix
- 16 oz Angel Hair Pasta
- Chopped Fresh Parsley to taste
- Cracked Pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan Cheese to taste
Instructions
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over the boneless skinless chicken breasts.
- Pat the seasoning in with your hands.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Combine cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, minced garlic, chicken broth, and Italian dressing mix in a bowl.
- Place the seared chicken in the crock pot, then pour the creamy sauce evenly over the top.
- Cover and set your crock pot on low. Let the chicken simmer for about 4 hours.
- Prepare the angel hair pasta according to package instructions, cooking until al dente, about 30 minutes before serving.
- Dish out the chicken over the pasta, spooning on the extra sauce.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
Notes
This dish can be prepared in the morning and cooked throughout the day. Leftovers keep well; reheat gently. Alternate pasta options include penne or gluten-free.
