Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound to even thickness.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  5. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Lower the heat, add butter and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  7. Pour in cream and stir to deglaze the pan.
  8. Add Parmesan and simmer until thickened.
  9. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to heat through and coat with sauce.
  10. Spoon sauce over each breast and finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.
  11. Serve hot.

Notes

Use real butter for better flavor and freshly grated Parmesan for a silkier sauce. Tip: Save leftovers to deepen flavors overnight.
