Ingredients

  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies (coarsely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until well combined.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and lump-free.
  5. Reduce to low speed and slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
  6. Gently fold in chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips until evenly mixed.
  7. Use a small cookie scoop to place cookie dough onto the baking sheet, lightly pressing down on each cookie.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges are set. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
