- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Buttercream frosting (for decoration)
- Mini chocolate chips (for eyes)
- Chocolate candies (for nose)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Using a cookie scoop, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, frost each cookie with buttercream frosting and decorate with mini chocolate chips for eyes and chocolate candies for the nose.
