Description

Delicious and healthy banana oatmeal bars that are perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert. Easy to make and packed with wholesome ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (about 1 ½ cups mashed)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ⅓ cup honey or pure maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the rolled oats, honey or maple syrup, eggs, baking powder, and vanilla extract to the bananas and stir until well combined.
  4. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for at least ten minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

These bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature and freeze beautifully. Add chocolate chips or nuts for extra flavor!
