Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, egg, sesame oil, honey, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them in the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until cooked through.
- Serve with rice or noodles, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
Notes
Use low-sodium soy sauce for a lighter salt level. For softer meatballs, use fine breadcrumbs; for more texture, use panko. You can adapt by using ground turkey or a beef and pork blend.
