Description

Delicious bites of apple fritters that bring warmth and nostalgia to your table.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the egg and milk together.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Fold in the diced apples.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
